Ah, Halloween again. The time of the year where the holiday weight gain starts to creep up on you. It all starts with this day specifically, because of one thing in particular – candy. Although your initial plan is to buy the candy only for the trick-or-treater’s, it never usually turns out that way. Temptation kicks in, and your hand is in the candy bowl more times than you had planned. Store-bought candy is usually loaded with a ton of sugar, extra calories, and many scary ingredients. If you are truly craving a treat, it would be best to get creative in the kitchen and whip up your own homemade treat. That way, you can control what goes into your treat, allowing it to be sinfully healthy.

I’ve compiled a list of links we have come across, with a ton of different homemade treat recipes. Enjoy!
