Why do you do you play tennis? Because I love it!

How long have you been playing for? 17 years

Do you compete in this activity? I do compete. I just finished my senior year at the University of Florida, where I played for the tennis team. Playing for the Gators was one of the most exciting experiences of my life.

Most challenging aspect of your activity: Being mentally and physically ready to give 100% every time I play a match

Most fun aspect of tennis: Dual matches with UF. The crowd is amazing and we have great support from our coaches and our teammates.

Most rewarding aspect of it: Being proud of myself after a great performance

Who/what inspires you when you’re feeling weak? The motivation of winning big matches with my team inspires me while I’m feeling weak

Advice for others who’d like to get started: Give yourself a 100% every time you step on the court, it will be worth it.

Your must-have equipment for this activity: Tennis shoes, a tennis racket, and adequate clothes.

Favorite training song: All the above

Favorite healthy food: Chicken

Favorite not-so-healthy food: Chips

Funniest /weirdest/most awkward experience doing your activity: When I was playing a match, I fell for no reason which made everyone in the crowd laugh, but I ended up winning the point 🙂
