Do you like wearing makeup every day? Are you hesitant to wear makeup to the gym because it never lasts or ends up looking like a sweaty mess? This blog is for you. Keep reading for some tips and tricks on how to make your makeup last through your workout.
Start with a clean face; you never want to start your makeup routine on dirty skin. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
Secondly, you want your skin to be extra hydrated for a smooth application. If you own serums, moisturizers, and milky toners, apply them all. Don’t be stingy; apply all hydrating products and let them dry for a few minutes.
If you like wearing primer, go ahead and apply that after moisturizing. DO NOT FORGET sunscreen. Sunscreen with SPF 30 (or more) is recommended for all skin types.

Now that you’ve applied all the skin prep, you are ready for the makeup portion. Optional: Brush your eyebrows with a clear or tinted brow gel for a polished look.
Cream Products
Take a cream or liquid bronzer and apply it to your forehead, cheekbones, chin, nose, and eyelids.

Note: This is how the bronzer should look blended out.
Next, apply a lip and cheek tint on the cheeks, the tip of the nose, eyelids, and lips. Lip and cheek tint is AMAZING because it ensures a long-lasting blush look. This is a supreme makeup hack for everyday activities.

Note: This is the cheek and lip tint applied.
Next up is concealer. Apply it to the areas you usually do. Pro tip: Apply to sides of nose to create an easy, natural contour.

Note: The image above shows the preferred concealer placement.
After blending out the concealer, you are ready to set your cream and liquid products. Use a setting mist by spraying it all over the face in a circular motion. Do not apply too much setting mist at this step, as you will be setting again later.

Note: The setting mist has been sprayed all over the cream/liquid products.
Powder Products
Now, grab your pressed or loose powder, and press it onto all areas where you placed concealer. Pro tip: Use a powder puff for this step; it helps the powder sink into the skin more effectively and ultimately last longer. Optional: Apply powder bronzer and blush to mattify the cream products.

Note: Pressed powder was used for this particular makeup look.
Finally, add some tubing or waterproof mascara, spray more setting mist as you did before, and you are officially ready to hit the gym feeling confident and beautiful.
Have a great workout!
