If you’re looking for beautiful bronze skin without a stinky smell, streaks, or skin damage … you should definitely enter this giveaway. I’ve been using the self tanning products for both face and body which Beautisol sent me several weeks ago, and I love them! Why? I’m Irish and a gorgeous glow is not going to happen for me unless I have some help. I’m also a connoisseur of self-tanners, because I have lost too many loved ones (most recently my Dad) to Melanoma. Thanks sunshine!  Anyway, I’ve tried the good ones and I’ve tried the bad. Beautisol ranks really high on my list of favorites.

Some tanners are too weak, frustrating those who want tan skin and want it now. Others are too, err STRONG, leaving the user freakishly orange as though they hung out with the ever-scuzzy Snooki on “The Jersey Shore”. Ewww, right? Beautisol hits the nail on the head, offering up an instant and appropriate tan without a strange smell. Since I loved the products so much, I asked Beautisol to sponsor some for you all and they gave me a big “yes” – woohoo! Then they offered up and entire Medium Tanning Beauty Kit (seen above) which retails for $55 and comes with:

  • 6 fl. oz. All Seasons Glow™
  • 4 fl. oz. Go Slough Yourself™
  • Instructional DVD
  • Two pairs of application gloves

To enter, use the comment section below to tell us what your motivation is to use a self tanner. Contest ends Friday, April 22nd at 8:00 PM EST.

I would love to have the tan I used to have as a teen and young adult. 2 years ago I had a scare when I went to the dermatologist for a spot on my face. Beings that I am a native Floridian my chances at having some kind of skin problem are greatly increased. I had to use a special cream to treat precancerous cells on my face. I was very scared to use the cream in that from what I saw online depending on the severity of the skin problem my face could have turned out to look like ground up hamburger meat. The cream in all reality was like a chemical peel, peeling away the layers of skin that had the cancerous cells. My situation was not that bad, no hamburger looking skin but very red and blotchy and yucky looking. The dr had said it was from years of having exposure to the sun. So now I use spf 50 sunscreen or higher, wear a hat, and truly fear getting a sunburn. I would love the chance to get my old tan back without the worries of cancer. Something like this product could make me feel a little better about having to stay out of the sun. Please pick me! 😉

  • Ashley Graetz says:

I use self tanners because it does not cause skin damage or xanxwr.

  • Jenn Flores says:

I used to use tanning beds a lot, but gave them up. However, I didn’t want to give my bronzed skin up! I have tried so many self tanners from high end to low end. Some worked well, but I was really after a high quality paraben free self tanner which this one is (along with being cruelty-free AND anti-aging!!) Could it get much beter!?

  • Marti says:

Let’s face it. Being tan makes you look young and healthy but laying out it the sun or hitting a tanning bed will make you look old and unhealthy eventually. Check out the internet reviews – Beautisol is the tops! Finally one that actually smells GOOD and is beneficial to your skin. Hooray!!

  • Christy says:

Do I need a tan? My white legs give me away in the dark!

  • Amy comesanas says:

I would live a self tanner that doesn’t smell and make me glow like a pumpkin.

  • Valerie says:

Blond, blue-eyed, lifeguard and swim teacher, in the sun all my life, a few ‘suspicious-looking’ spots removed ….

Today, I am an ‘spf cop’ and use invisible zinc sunscreen at 50+ spf, wear big hats, and stay out of the sun during the ‘hot hours’ –

Would love to have the a little color, and would love to try Beautisol – have not been impressed by other self-tanners (George Hamilton-like orangy skin) and the smell!

A little tan to highlight the ‘Fitzness’ toned muscle I am building following the daily Fitz workout! Fitz knows what she is doing – I look and feel different in just one week!

    Thanks Fitz!

  • Susan F. says:

your tan looks great Fitz! I want one too. I agree with you that protecting your skin is very important. I love to try new products and this is the time of year that we all want to “glow” without the orange effects of a bad sun tanner.

  • Stephanie Ritchie says:

I live in Western NY where we have winter 9 months out of the year;) (not really but it seems that way). While I love being outside, I do not like the affects that the sun does to your skin. I grew up in FL and we really didn’t use a lot of sunscreen back then. I have had a couple of precancerous moles removed. I am now, a stickler for sunscreen. I don’t go outside without putting some on. (my kids hate it but I told them how important it is). I would LOVE some natural looking color without the affects of the sun. I would like it to look natural and not be harmful to me. I would like a tan year round:)

  • Traci M. Daughtry says:

I was obsessed with Tanning growing up, and even well into my twenties. I now do not have the time and also realize that as much as I love the sun it is not healthy. When sunbathing now I def put the layer up with sunscreen on my face, to avoid any more sun damage. I now do not have the time to work on my tan, so I stick to self tanners, spray tans – and the occasional day at the beach – I always feel better and sexier with a great tan!

  • Nicole says:

I was born and raised in South Florida and was a former college swimmer and lifeguard – I always had a nice “sun-kissed glow”.

Unfortunately, 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with skin cancer. I am happy to say I am now skin cancer free but have become super cautious about sun damage. My skin is paler than it’s ever been.

I would love to try out beautisol ! It would be nice to be able to recognize this Florida girl in the mirror again!

  • Kristen says:

I’m at high risk for skin cancer, but look terrible when I’m pale.

  • Jacki says:

I try to stay out of the sun as much as possible because, (1) I only burn, (2) I had chemo years ago, and a long-lasting side effect called UV Recall causes me a horrible skin reaction from the sun, (3) I’ve had a basal cell skin cancer removed from my arm already, and I don’t want another, and (4) my grandma warned me about the dangers of this sun, and I figure I should listen to her!

  • Val says:

After watching my good friend’s dad die of skin cancer, it made me think twice about spending so much time in tanning booths and the sun! I recently started trying self tanner, but I dont really like the way that it smells or looks! I would love to give beautisol a try! 🙂

  • amber says:

I use self tanner because tanning is bad for me, but i still like to have a little color! I work for a cancer non-profit and I see so many people dealing with skin cancer. I like what beautisol stands for and think it’s a great product. Hope to win some!

  • kim b says:

i am red headed and sun can be dangerous. I would love to win!!! Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Maria R says:

Hello my reason to sel tan is that I want a nice tan. and not a on fake orange look. I used to go spray tanning and I qui. And now I’m looking for something economical and good quality.

  • Ann Ball says:

Self tanners are the only way to go! I load up on sunscreen when I’m in the sun, and I don’t get much color that way. That’s why I use self tanners. It would be great to use one that gives a natural glow with out that “self tanner” smell 🙂

  • Sharon Isbell says:

I like to use self tanners because I dont like getting in the sun, and its so much easier. I would really love to try Beautisol!

  • Kendra McKee says:

Growing up in south Florida- I always had the best tan. It came with a huge price. I’ve already had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my forehead and now am on constant watch for more and always fearing the dreaded melanoma. My skin is damaged visually as well- with permanent red blotches and melasma . I love the idea of self tanners but the bad smell always keeps me from investing in them. I would so love one that doesn’tt make me smell bad and would make my skin look better!
