Two words:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fitzness.com\/blog\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=66318&amp;action=edit\"> resistance bands.<\/a> These small, elastic, and ultra-portable bands open up endless movement possibilities, allowing you to build strength, improve flexibility, and target different muscle groups with ease. Whether you&#8217;re a beginner or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, resistance bands can add variety to your workouts and help you achieve serious results.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Benefits of Using Resistance Bands\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before I share some resistance band exercises, let me tell you a little about why they can add tremendous value to your workout regimen. Unlike free-weights, resistance bands fall into the category of \u201caccommodating resistance\u201d exercises. This means that as you move through a full range of motion (ROM), the resistance continuously increases &#8211; making the lift equally as difficult throughout the entire ROM. Accommodating resistance forces you to generate maximum tension throughout the whole movement pattern.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, this doesn\u2019t mean that resistance bands are better than free weights. Both have many\u00a0 advantages and can complement each other in an exercise program. You can even use resistance bands and free weights together for an extra challenge. Prepare to feel the burn!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Resistance Band Workouts:\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a plethora of resistance bands to choose from online, but to make it simple, there are three main types: a loop band (short or long), a sheet band, and tube band. All are great and viable options to use during a workout.
