My health is everything; I never get sick and<br \/>\nI attribute that to clean eating and exercise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Would you be as good at what you do if you didn&#8217;t pursue fitness?<\/strong><br \/>\nGetting up at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_458823081\"><span class=\"aQJ\">3:30 a.m.<\/span><\/span> requires discipline and a healthy body. Exercise<br \/>\nis a very important part of my success.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you squeeze fitness in on a crazy busy day?<\/strong> I always put my<br \/>\nworkout first by making an appointment with myself and carve out the<br \/>\ntime when necessary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do you fight the urge to skip workouts<\/strong>? Just put my head down and<br \/>\nget the work done. My blood pressure is managed by my diet and<br \/>\nexercise. I beat the cancer with caring doctors and vigorous<br \/>\nexercise during my chemo and radiation treatments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Does your company offer incentives for exercising or eating right?<\/strong> <strong>If<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>so, how do you take part?<\/strong> We have a lot of healthy people who<br \/>\nencourage each other to stay healthy; nothing formal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Must-have training equipment:<\/strong>\u00a0Just body weight and a clear mind<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite training tune:<\/strong> I don&#8217;t listen to music when I exercise; I<br \/>\njust concentrate on making the last rep to failure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite healthy food:<\/strong> I eat a lot of veggies that I prepare in a<br \/>\nvariety of ways: curries, stir fries, Asian, Mexican, etc. I make very<br \/>\nflavorful, tasty dishes where the protein is a minor player.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite not-so-healthy food:<\/strong> Dark chocolate<\/p>\n<p><strong>Greatest accomplishment in fitness\/athletics:<\/strong> I was captain of the Nova High School wrestling team my junior and senior year. In the last two years, I lost 65 pounds of fat and gained 17.5 pounds of muscle in 12 weeks with the X-Force exercise program at Gainesville Health and Fitness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weirdest\/funniest\/craziest thing that you&#8217;ve ever experienced while exercising:<\/strong> I guess it&#8217;s a pet peeve, but people who go to fitness centers and leave looking like they haven&#8217;t worked out. When I leave, I&#8217;m drenched in sweat and wrung out. I&#8217;m a busy guy and don&#8217;t have time to dawdle.<br \/>\nWhen in the gym, put in the effort for results!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you think fitness is a factor in being successful in business? Why<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>or why not?<\/strong> Fitness is a big factor in my success. I stay busy early<br \/>\nto late, with a lot of charity events in between. To maintain my<br \/>\nschedule I have to take care of myself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What fit professional inspires you?<\/strong> Joe Cirulli, Owner of Gainesville<br \/>\nHealth and Fitness Centers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advice for others trying to become more fit:<\/strong> Start now, ease into it<br \/>\nand make it part of your routine.
