{"id":240,"date":"2009-07-18T10:41:49","date_gmt":"2009-07-18T15:41:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fitzness.com\/blog\/?p=240"},"modified":"2022-01-06T21:35:54","modified_gmt":"2022-01-07T02:35:54","slug":"celebrity-fitzness-101-cirque-du-soleil-la-nouba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fitzness.com\/blog\/celebrity-fitzness-101-cirque-du-soleil-la-nouba\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrity Fitzness 101: Cirque du Soleil &#8220;La Nouba&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you&#8217;ve ever seen a <em>Cirque du Soleil<\/em> show, then you know how incredible the acrobats are; they&#8217;ve got the most athletic, lean and agile bodies on any stage, any where.\u00a0 This is my reasoning for seeking time with them to learn how their training can enhance yours.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"425\" height=\"344\" classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/3LrMqorHe4g&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"425\" height=\"344\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/3LrMqorHe4g&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1&amp;\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" \/><\/object><\/p>\n<p>I recently attended the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cirquedusoleil.com\/lanouba\/en\/intro\/intro.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cirque show &#8220;La Nouba&#8221; in Orlando<\/a>, and found it quite challenging to keep my jaw off the floor. The show offers nonstop fun, creativity and surprises. In fact, the show is so busy one would have to return a dozen times to take it all in. My small chidren\u00a0 loved it so much that they&#8217;ve been practicing &#8220;acrobatic moves&#8221; to the Cirque CD we purchased nonstop and plan to perform with <em>Cirque du Soleil<\/em> when they grow up. Fun!<\/p>\n<p>Acrobat Mark Griffith. who performs on the &#8220;trampoline wall&#8221; is also a pilates instructor. Mark generously\u00a0spent time with me to demonstrate a few elite core training moves that will tighten up your waistline as if you wore a corset.\u00a0 His ideas are challenging but\u00a0 require zero equipment, so you have no excuse not to give them a try.
