At Breezes Resorts,<\/strong><\/a> you\u2019ll find that you have everything to do and all the time in the world to do it. Have you ever made the excuse that you couldn\u2019t exercise on vacation because you \u201chad no time\u201d? Well at Breezes, that excuse doesn\u2019t hold water. In fact, instead of sitting in a lame glass of still water, you\u2019ll have every opportunity and every reason in the world to make the water your playground. I just spent five fun-filled days at the Breezes Resort in Negril, Jamaica and excuses were not on the menu. You see, in my little \u201cfitness expert book\u201d, vacations are for having fun and making memories \u2013 not eating food and getting fat. That\u2019s why there is so much benefit in booking a vacation at a place like this.\u00a0 For a flat fee EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED, or \u2026 all-inclusive. That means, once you arrive on property \u2013 all the fun stuff is already paid for. So you never have to hem and haw over whether or not to spend the money on a snorkeling trip or kayaking. In fact, you\u2019ve already paid for that stuff, so if you\u2019re trying to get the most bang for you buck, it really behooves you to get up and go, go, go! You can sit on a beach and do nothing for free almost anywhere. If you\u2019re going to pay for an all-inclusive resort, you better take the attitude that you are going to DO everything that is included! Catch my drift?<\/p>\n

At this lovely location for adult couples, families and singles, Breezes offers a ton of fun active stuff for everyone\u2019s ability. I personally took part in a wide variety of the fun stuff including: kayaking, beach volleyball, snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding, boating, swimming and an endless amount of water-skiing. \u00a0I also was taken out on several relaxing rides on a Hobie Cat. Some other activities available that I did NOT try were: knee boarding, diving, windsurfing, glass-bottom boating and tennis. Cool stuff. They have a great fitness facility which includes a fab amount of both cardio and strength training equipment, but I only used it twice, because I stayed so busy playing actively!<\/p>\n

I can only assume you\u2019re here reading articles on Fitzness.com, because you too, have an interest in your health. You want to live better, live longer and have a better body. If I\u2019m right, and you love the ocean, this is the vacation for you. Breezes, Negril offers about a 3.5 star (out of five) hotel experience with endless amounts of fun, entertainment and (oh yeah) food\/drinks. With several nice restaurants: Japanese, Italian, French, Continental, Caribbean, and an American buffet, you’ll find your fare share of fruits, vegetables, seafood and more. Vegetarian meals are easy to come by for sure. Even though the food and drinks are all-included and available all over the place, I’d like you to view it simply as a way to refuel for the fun stuff. Sure, you could eat and drink yourself in to oblivion. But let’s be honest – there’s no benefit in that and you know it. Deep down inside, you DON’T want to leave vacation 10 pounds more than you were when you arrived. Stick to the fun stuff and use the food for fuel.<\/p>\n

\nI was there during the first week of August which had an extra element of fun, as Breezes offered special Zumba classes with my super-fab new friend, Linda Robinson. This is just the beginning as Breezes hopes to turn this first week of August in to an annual fitness retreat.\u00a0 Hopefully next year, you, I and quite a few others will be there playing and partying all week together. Breezes is one of the most affordable all-inclusive resorts around and for the amount of physical fun available, I think it’s a fantastic deal.<\/p>\n
