You know &#8211; the kind that includes action, adventure, belly laughs and opportunities to make new memories together.\u00a0 Just because Dad isn&#8217;t your &#8220;Daddy&#8221; anymore, doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t still play together. If you need some suggestions, give the following a try. If you don&#8217;t, share your ideas with us!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hit the park to play sports like football, kickball, softball, basketball, tennis, etc. The list is endless and definitely offers a great way to spend time with dad while getting some exercise too. Also, a little competition never hurt anyone.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the beach! Swim, surf, splash, play paddle ball or throw the Frisbee! I bet your Pop will enjoy flashbacks of tossing you around in the water or building sandcastles with you when you were little.<\/li>\n<li>Head to a paintball or gun range to shoot things! Guys seem to like to shoot things, and you will definitely have your work cut out for you trying to hit those non-living moving targets.<\/li>\n<li>Take out a jet-ski, go water skiing, or do some water sports. They can be very physically demanding and ridiculously fun.<\/li>\n<li>If you have pets take them on a walk or hike together; it&#8217;s a low-key option for exercise while giving you the chance to catch up. Fido will appreciate it as well.<\/li>\n<li>Active video games are a cool indoor thing to do. You and Dad can compete on such platforms as<a title=\"Wii Fit vs. Xbox360 Kinect: Which is Better for You?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fitzness.com\/blog\/?p=9411\" target=\"_blank\">the XBOX or Wii.<\/a> Age is not usually a factor, so don&#8217;t be surprised if Dad kicks your butt at baseball.<\/li>\n<li>If it so happens that some house-work or car washing needs to be done, then Father\u2019s Day may be a good opportunity to help him out. It\u2019s always nice to help do chores that your dad needs done, and you can burn some calories as well. Imagine how much fun you&#8217;ll have with that chainsaw!<\/li>\n<li>Go bowling! Bowling is a semi-ageless sport so bring the whole family for gutter balls, strikes and spares. Who cares who wins? Just have some fun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Spending time with your Pop on Father&#8217;s Day is important. Spending QUALITY TIME getting active and making new memories will actually make this day SPECIAL\u00a0 Your Dad can probably go buy a new tie if he needs one. Cutting loose with YOU is something he can&#8217;t do on his own. Remember how special spending time with him was when you were little?
