The truth of the matter is, when you have to ask yourself or someone else if you look in fat in something, chances are good that you are either fishing for a compliment or you know your outfit is unflattering<\/strong>. If something doesn’t look right on you, there lies your answer. Most people ask for advice when they already know the verdict. If you know something looks great on you, you’d have no doubts about wearing it out. Let this simple thought follow you as you go to try on any item of clothing!<\/p>\n

Our pal, Dr. Oz even made a list of his 10 commandments for weight loss, and 2 of the 10 give a good insight on this topic:<\/p>\n

1. Thou shall not wear pants that stretch- Every now and then it’s fine, but if you wear stretchy pants everyday you are more likely to gain weight without even knowing it. Tight clothes help you gauge if your body is changing, weight-wise.<\/p>\n

2. Thou shall not keep “fat clothes” in your closet- Don’t let yourself gain weight just because you know you’ll still have clothes that will fit you. If you were to gain weight and would actually have nothing to wear, you would be much more motivated to run a tight ship and make sure the numbers on the scale stayed the same.<\/p>\n

This same mindset goes for food selections, exercise decisions, and every other topic pertaining to your weight loss goals. If you have to ask yourself if you should eat that cookie, or if you should skip the gym that day, you have your answer. The right decision is never questioned because you know with all of your heart that it’s what you should be doing. You’ll never regret a workout, you’ll never regret saying “no” to dessert and you’ll never regret striving for the best body you can achieve. This will prove especially true when you try on that little black dress or bathing suit and you’re absolutely certain that you look awesome. You’d never second guess yourself if you knew you looked great. Remember that.<\/p>\n
