I just got my hands on two SPIbelts<\/a>, one designed for children and one for adults and\u00a0I think they’re pretty handy.\u00a0 SPIbelt stands for Small Personal Item Belt, but what it really is … is a less cheesy – more functional\u00a0fitness version of the fanny pack. Remember those? Ah yes! The God-awful man-purse things associated with tacky tourists. Nice to have a hands-free bag, but yeesh! They were unattractive.<\/p>\n

But the SPIbelt isn’t like that at all. It’s really thin and almost unrecognizable as something that could hold anything! Having said that, it will hold exactly what you need it to.\u00a0 The latex pouch was stretchy enough to hold my cell phone, mp3 player and a couple of keys.\u00a0 This meant I could take the essentials out on a jog with me to help me feel safe and entertained,\u00a0without the burden of\u00a0carrying anything. The child’s belt can carry about the same amount as the adult version.<\/p>\n

Most importantly, the\u00a0 belt is comfortable and can be hidden underneath a shirt or jacket if\u00a0you\u00a0choose to do so. We all know what it’s like to hit the pavement with keys in our hands and an mp3 player bouncing around in our annoyingly small shorts pocket. It stinks!
