The deadlift is very important to expanding energy, and breaking through any plateau\u2019s you may be facing in any other facet of your training. The deadlift is focused on the lower back and hamstrings; however, it is known to make several other muscle groups sore as well. Start with the basics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fbHKP7Q_Isc\" target=\"_blank\">Typical Deadlift<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XynUSDVyd6Q\" target=\"_blank\">Sumo Deadlift<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once you have tried the two above, you can go and try SDL\u2019s (Straight Legged Deadlifts) and RDL\u2019s (Romanian Deadlifts) \u2013 these two are more advanced, and should be tried after you have mastered the above.
