Think training to fit in with this movie is easy? Think again!<\/div>\n
Liam on his Spartacus<\/em> predecessor Andy Whitfield, who recently passed away after a long battle with non-Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma:<\/strong> Andy was amazing at his job. I want to do justice to the character he already created. I think of Andy and remind myself that no day is too hard.<\/div>\n
How he transformed his body: <\/strong>It was a combination of mental and physical effort. The body can do incredible things as long as the mind supports it.<\/div>\n
On his body before training for the show: <\/strong>When I look back at the photo the Spartacus<\/em> producers took at the start, I think, ‘Oh, God.\u2019 I didn’t realize how much weight I’d lost for Frozen Moments<\/em>.<\/div>\n
On working out with a friend:<\/strong> There are tons of benefits to working out with someone else. You can do a better range of exercises if someone’s there to spot you. They’ll yell at me when I’m not working hard enough, and compliment me when I am.<\/div>\n
