Serve this delicious sweet potato dish at your holiday table and show your family and friends that is <strong>POSSIBLE <\/strong>to stay healthy even at a holiday revolved all around food.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 1\/2 pounds of sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 1\/2 inch pieces (should be about 8 cups)<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup pure maple syrup<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>Freshly ground pepper, to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to make the sweet potatoes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 400 degrees<\/li>\n<li>In a 9-by-13 inch glass baking dish, arrange the sweet potatoes in an even layer<\/li>\n<li>Combine maple syrup, lemon juice, salt , and pepper on a small bowl<\/li>\n<li>Pour the mixture over the sweet potatoes; toss to coat<\/li>\n<li>Cover and bake the sweet potatoes for 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Uncover, stir and cook stirring ever 15 minutes until tender and starting to brown<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Per serving this dish contains 96 calories, 2 g fat (1 g sat, 0 g mono), 5 mg cholesterol, 19 g carbohydrates, 1 g protein, 2 g fiber, 118 mg sodium, 189 mg potassium.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Fitzness\/218599521492381?ref=ts\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>**We found this awesome dish at www.eatingwell.com.
