Nike<\/a>\u00a0recently volunteered the LunarGlide<\/a>+ running shoe for review and I’m so happy they did! My first surprise was when the box arrived and I found a deep plum shoe inside with dark gray details and a neon yellow Swoosh. I thought they were pretty, but what in God’s earth could I wear them with? The answer is apparently … everything! Shockingly, everything in my workout wardrobe compliments these kicks perfectly and on the topic of compliments … they’ve been relentless. I can’t walk out my front door without someone shouting “Wow! Great shoes!”<\/p>\n

They make me feel like\u00a0a fancy fashionista and that’s fantastic, but of course the most important thing about these shoes is that they’re functional.\u00a0 They’re functional plus 10.\u00a0 They’re extremely supportive and comfy to run in with great breathability thanks to Nike’s Dynamic Support technology. Basically this means the shoe can adapt to your gait, providing extra support where you, specifically need it.\u00a0The body of the shoe is stretchy, which makes them softer and\u00a0allows for more room in the forefoot which women often require.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The structure of the LunarGlide +\u00a0isn’t the only thing that’s smart\u00a0about this shoe, and that’s where the “plus 10” comes in. The LunarGlide +\u00a0has room for\u00a0a small chip which gets placed in the sole of the left shoe which acts as a: pedometer, odometer and clock.\u00a0 So, instead of wearing an annoying device on both your arm and hip … your shoes will keep track of your training stats for you. Smart, right? You do actually wear a thin little band around your wrist to ignite your shoe chip, but it’s really insignificant and can plug directly in to your computer online\u00a0training data tracking. In fact, you can post your training\u00a0stats for other Nike members to see and compete with them which serves as great motivation. Fun!<\/p>\n

The Nike LunarGlide + is cool. Fashionable, functional and a little bit fancy too. I recommend giving them a try!<\/p>\n
