Have you ever walked into a spa or a gym and seen water with cucumber in it? Do you ever wonder what that water actually does for you? Everyone knows about the health benefits of water, but what people do not know are the health benefits of infused water. Here are a list of fruits that you can and should add to your water:
Cucumber – Cucumber is an anti-inflammatory, as well as hydrates your body and is good for your muscles.
Lemon – Lemons are a natural diuretic, increases brain power and energy, are very hydrating, and helps sooth your stomach during digestion. Limes have very similar benefits.
Mint – Even though mint is not a fruit, it is refreshing and tastes great in water! Mint is great for your digestion! It also helps reduce headaches.
Other fruits that you can add to your water that have many of the same health benefits are strawberries, oranges, and kiwis. Slice any of these fruits and add them to a 12 to 16 ounce glass of water. Feel free to even mix fruits! Next time you are feeling tired of just plain water, just know you can add a slice of lemon and reap the health benefits.
