As expected, Christina Aguilera gets a little freaky (not for children) in this video for her new single “Not Myself Tonight”. However! It’s got a fun beat and will definitely make a fab addition to any one’s mp3 player. If music makes you move, I suggest you give this song a go!

The typical gym rat carries a tiny set of earbuds with them to workout and is satisfied simply to have some entertainment during tough training sessions. Music is a must, right? You need to move and you love some sound to move along to. But we all know and love a “techy nerd” who can’t live without the perfect sound quality and the ultimate equipment which makes every bit of bass boom and every high pitched howl hum. Why are they so finicky? I know – because things like Able Planet’s NC300B headphones exist and quite honestly, before I tried them … I couldn’t figure out what folks like my Dad were so anal about their audio equipment. Now I get it.
The NC300B makes me feel like I’m that long-haired guy in that famous sound-system commercial who’s sitting in the reclining chair while giant speakers blowing the perfect sound at him. I’ve pretended to be him since I received this cool tool, but instead I’ve been roaming around rocking out to the music on my new Android cell phone. I can’t figure out how the music coming from my teeny cell phone can sound so big; I can only think that these headphones must be good. They’re noise cancelers too, which means that they can drown out annoying sounds like those on an airplane, in the mall or wherever else you may be. In fact, my daughter Ginger suggested I wear them while brushing her hair so I can’t hear her whine about it. I plan to take her up on that suggestion, and might even bring them with me if I ever need dental work too. (more…)

There’s no doubt that music is one of our most powerful weapons for fighting the battle of the bulge. Because of this, I believe it’s vital to have both an mp3 player which works without issue and earbuds which actually stay in your ear!
The personal music player industry has certainly come a long way, but yee-gads! It’s taken the headset folks a long time to chatch up. Finally though, I think they have. Groove by 2XL is an adjustable headphone set which both stays firmly in place and generates bold clear sound. The earbuds themselves are quite large, which may sound bad, but it’s not. They fit quite perfectly in the ear and are held in place by an adjustable hanger which wraps around it.
