Ibex: Gold Medal Relief from the Cold

There’s no denying that this winter has been unusually cold, and unless you’re American Olympic Gold Medal winner Lindsay Vonn … this season has been close to unbearable. Now I’m in Florida and of course the rest of the country is much colder, but the problem with being here in freezing temps versus “up there” in freezing temps is that us southerners are completely unprepared! We don’t have ice scrapers and we certainly don’t have proper clothing! In fact, I’ve been on a three month search for anything that would stop the icy wind from making my bones ache, but nothing in town even comes close. Finally I decided to shop smart, and that’s when I found Ibex.

Ibex is a line of outdoor clothing specifically designed to keep fitness fiends and outdoorsman going in the all sorts of weather. I contacted Ibex stating that I needed clothes to wear while running, hiking or taking my kids to the park. In return I ended up with a complete set of layers including: bra, panties, a thin woolies crew, a woolie zip t-neck, a rave down vest, and some knitty gritty gloves.  I knew as I pulled each item out of the box they would give me my life back and finally yank the chill out of my bones.
